GT-SUITE
"Virtual Engine/Powertrain/Vehicle" Simulation
From Concept Design to Detailed System Analysis![]()
The industry is increasingly using GT-SUITE as a platform to model inter-dependent systems for an increasingly broader set of applications. For this reason, well over 80% of OEMs have already upgraded their GT-POWER licenses to full GT-SUITE licenses, which gives access to the entire set of GT-SUITE capabilities. This trend has driven a change in the licensing options for GT-SUITE starting in 2009.
In the past, reduced-cost licensing options were each limited to a specific application (e.g. GT-COOL) in addition to the full GT-SUITE. In recognition of the industry trend demanding more integration, these previous options have been replaced by only three license options listed below:
With this change, there are two reduced-cost options for organizations that need only part of the capabilities available in GT-SUITE. Note that the software is unchanged with these licensing options, except that in the last two of them certain modeling options (libraries or models) are simply disabled.
